Certified Staff: (continuing with a $900 increase at each step)
2008-09 ....... 3.75% increase on the base
2009-10 ....... 3.5% increase on the base
2010-11 ........ 3.5% increase on the base
2011-12 ........ 3.75% increase on the base
Non-Certified Staff (paid from Non-Certified schedule):

2008-09 ....... 3.75% employee share of IMRF paid by WOVSED
2009-10 ....... 4.5% employee share of IMRF paid by WOVSED plus 2.75% increase on base
2010 -11 ....... 4.5% employee share of IMRF paid by WOVSED plus 3.5% increase on base
2011-12 ....... 4.5% employee share of IMRF paid by WOVSED plus 3.75% increase on base
Additional changes include...
- WOVSED will post notices of vacancies and/or newly created positions on the WOVSED website and bulletin board provided for Association use in WOVSED and will mail same notices to the WOVSED District schools and Association President.
- The work year will include 184 work days (rather than 185 as specified by the previous contract).
- Tentative work assignments for the following school year will be received by certified and non-certified employees (excluding secretarial and custodial staff) no later than the first day of August.
- WOVSED will make every reasonable attempt to post available continuing education opportunities in locations that are available to all employees, including the WOVSED website.
- Each full-time employee shall be entitled to three (3) personal days per year (rather than the two days provided by the previous contract), and personal days may still be taken in half-day increments. In addition, unused personal days may still be transferred to sick days.
- WOVSED will pay the following amounts for each employee as payment toward the individual's health insurance premium (in contrast with the $350.00 paid for the 2007-08 school year): 2008-09 = $375.00 per month; 2009-10 = $400.00 per month; 2010-11 = $425.00 per month; and 2011-12 = $450.00 per month. WOVSED will pay this amount or the individual's premium, whichever is less.
- Employees using their personal vehicles in the course of their employment shall be reimbursed at the IRS rate as of July 1st of each contract year. If the IRS rate increases during January of that contract year, the employee shall receive the rate increase.
- Beginning with the 2008-09 school year, IMRF employees paid on the non-certified salary schedule may apply for retirement and receive an increase in salary their last year of employment of a sum equal to 10% of their current salary (as opposed to 10% of the base as specified by the previous contract).
